SI Joint Pain Improved with Pilates!


Dear Jennifer,

I just wanted to reach out and thank you for dramatically improving and changing my life. About a year ago, I woke up in debilitating pelvic pain. I did the obligatory Google search and quickly realized it was my sacroiliac joint. There was no position or movement that didn’t absolutely bring to my knees. Even laying on an ice pack did nothing. I read several articles and looked at even more YouTube videos, trying to find a remedy. And that’s when I stumbled across you. You, undoubtedly, made more sense than anyone else, and your specificity and calming energy really resonated with me. So, I began doing your floor exercises, and saw immediate improvement.

Since that day, I have watched countless videos of yours, and I religiously do my floor and chair exercises every day. My wife frequently comments, in amazement, at how dedicated I am to my newfound Pilates regimen. I keep telling her I never want to feel that kind of pain again.

I’m fifty-eight years old, and have been married for thirty-five years to the love of my life. I’m an audio-recording engineer. I live in Los Angeles, California. I’ve been doing this work for over thirty years now. I record and mix many different types of music and voice-overs, such as for the shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. I do way too much sitting – in front of speakers and a computer monitor – all day. There is no question that my trackball movements, sitting and posture are not helping anything. But since I’ve been doing your exercises, I’ve been in really good shape, and have never dealt with any chronic pain since.

Anyway, I just thought you should know the blessings and impact that your videos are generating. From the bottom of my heart I just wanted to thank you, for absolutely changing my life! I’ve always said that there is no greater or more noble work, on this planet, than teaching and healing. You are the real heroes doing God’s work. You have brought noticeable healing to my life – even my cholesterol has plummeted! And a million thank-yous won’t even come close to expressing my sincere gratitude, for you caring enough to record and post those exercises.

I discovered I had SI joint pain and searched online for help. Your Youtube video on this is such a big help and i enjoyed instant results. I thought at first to be a coincidence as this pain comes and goes, but soon realized it was your guidance and delivery and a little dedication from me. I try do these floor exercises every day to keep the old SI joint discomfort at bay. Thank you so much.
